Heptafluoropropane, HFC-227ea is a colorless gas at normal temperature and pressure.
As a clean, environment-friendly, high affective and low toxic fire extinguishing agent, HFC-227ea is ideal substitute for halon 1301, and has been accepted by National Fire Protection Association(NFPA) in its 2001 new standard.

It is a New-generation halon substitute candidates and at present, the most promising tropodegradable replacement iodide, which exhibit fire extinguishment capabilities similar to the halons.
